Shout-Outs to Our Peeps

2.19.07
THEME: Hey Record Club, This Song's for You
MC: Malcolm, Etc.

Everyone was touched and moved by all the thoughtful tributes paid this evening. Tributes, that is, to all the lovely folks that make the record club what it is, as the theme was "us", the record club. Some highlights included Bev's ELO pulled from the flames(Eric abandoned the album at the r.c. record swap), Ryan's Dischord 01 Teen Idles single, my all glockenspiel set, Kenny Rogers, and all of my many alter egos played throughout the night. Next week, there will be a bunch of themes going on, as we'll be recycling all the old themes, and anyone who wasn't able to participate in those theme's will be given a second chance. So absentees and late-comers, pick yourself a theme and get to work. Next week we'll get it together and have a mixer too, so hopefully we wont be subject to my awful jokes and banal musings. By the way, my real alter-ego is that of albino Jamaican dancehall superstar Yellowman!

Zungguzungguguzungguzeng!,

Malcolm
